On the Tuesday evenings of Lent from 7-8pm, a Holy Hour will take place in Culfadda Church. People are asked to come and go as they please. This will start on March 12th.
The hour will begin with the Blessed Sacrament exposed at 7pm.
Then at 7.30pm, the Rosary will be recited.
The hour will close with benediction.
Everyone is welcome from inside and outside our Parish. In particular, people are asked to bring children to witness the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament or indeed reciting of the Holy Rosary.
Of course it can be difficult with younger children. If parents were even able to attend for 5 minutes with the children, this would be greatly appreciated.
We also especially invite people that do not attend sunday mass regularly. Maybe for lent, you could consider attending for a period of time which makes this time of benefit to you. Whether you stay for 5 minutes or 1 hour is irrelevant. The desire to honour the Lord by your presence is the important factor. Please support this event.
Please in particular think of someone in your life ill, doing exams etc. Maybe even think of attending to say thank you for something good in your life.
Please put a reminder on your phone. Attending for 5 minutes or 1 hour is irrelevant. The public statement honouring the Lord is the important factor.
